Spend Memorial Day weekend up north. Stay at Cathy and George Granlund’s place nestled in the north woods and enjoy paddling Traverse Bay on Saturday and the winding Betsie River on Sunday. We’re also close to miles and miles of quiet secondary roads if you’d like to bicycle rather than paddle. Or you can hike for miles out of the back door.
Arrive anytime during the weekend. We’ll be biking on Friday at noon. We have indoor space for your sleeping bag and plenty of outdoor space for tents and for trailers and campers. Plan on potluck meals in addition to George’s pancake breakfast on Saturday.
